American River

I can't believe how long I avoided tubing on the American River. All because I did not want to drive 6 hours. This is the same reason I have not been back to Southeast Asia. I realize life is too short to avoid long commutes!

Great fun. One rapid. Scared me but was nothing compared to Natchlatch River near Vancouver.

Reo River Rafting in Canada near Vancouver was a thrill and the clamping was extraordinary.
